10th anniversary of Human Rights Network
Our partner the Network of Committees for Human Rights in Serbia (CHRIS) was founded in 2000 in order to provide free legal aid to citizens whose human rights had been violated. Together we monitor and report on human rights violations. Each year we bring a number of strategically important cases to court. We work with advocacy in order to increase citizens’ access to legal aid, to improve protection against discrimination and to increase the visibility of minorities and other discriminated groups.
Today the network consists of the following five members: Committee for Human Rights Negotin, Civic Forum Novi Pazar, Committee for Human Rights Niš, Committee for Human Rights Valjevo and Vojvodina Centre for Human Rights Novi Sad.
For their 10th anniversary CHRIS is launching a newsletter, in order to read the newsletter click on the link below.
