Laws Troublesome From a Human Rights Perspective
During the last few years a number of new laws have been adopted in Sweden that are troublesome from a Human Rights perspective.
Even though there are serious attempts to improve legal certainty and abuse of power when new laws are being introduced, there is a constant lack of diligent investigations on the need for, and effectiveness of, new measures, and the impact they have on human rights. These are some of the conclusions in Civil Rights Defenders’ UPR-submission.
