Our Rights at Human Rights Forum in Örebro
Our photo exhibition “Our Rights” will be shown during the Human Rights Forum in Örebro. The exhibition is made in collaboration with the photographer Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin and the aim is to increase the awareness of the importance of Human Rights.
-In Sweden, we are good at talking about human rights and to promote them in other countries. But the basic fundamental understanding of what they actually mean is relatively low. With this exhibition we want to show what might be the consequences of human rights violations but also how we can defend them, says Robert Hårdh, executive director of Civil Rights Defenders.
Please come by and have a look at the exhibition and meet us. New for this year is that there is free entry to the exhibition hall where interesting mini-seminars will take place.
On Tuesday, our Programme officer Peter Mossop who work at our field office in Pristina, Kosovo, will participate in a mini-seminar:

How can the EU, Council of Europe, OSCE, UN et al. international actors contribute to make human rights defenders work successful? How can modern information technology contribute to strengthening the protection of human rights defenders?
